FLORENCE, SC—The South Carolina State captured an 7-0 win in dominating fashion Sunday (March 10) over Francis Marion at the Kassab Courts.

South Carolina State improves to 5-5 on the season, while FMU falls to 5-4.

The Bulldogs won the doubles points with victories at the No.2 spot Novak Novakovic/Mikalai Bankou (SCSU) def. #39 Luis Lopez Sarasa/Austin Vienna (FMU) 6-4 and the No. 3 spot Gabriel Johnson/Ivan Pauliuchenka (SCSU) def. Harri Lloyd-Evans/Pedro Caro (FMU) 6-1

In singles action it was Novak Novakovic (SCSU) def. Martin Barbera (FMU) 6-2, 6-3 at the No. 1 spot; Mikalai Bankou (SCSU) def. Leonel Gonzalez (FMU) 6-0, 6-3 at the No.2 spot; Aissa Benchakroun (SCSU) def. Harri Lloyd-Evans (FMU) 6-1, 3-1, retired at the No.3 spot; Gabriel Johnson (SCSU) def. Ben Scott (FMU) 6-4, 6-2 at the No. 4 spot; Ivan Pauliuchenka (SCSU) def. Carlson Lim (FMU) 6-0, 6-2 at the No. 5 spot and Luka Stefanovic (SCSU) def. Adam Ernberg (FMU) 6-2, 6-3 winning respectively at the No.6 spot.
