WASHINGTON, DC—The South Carolina State women's basketball team will look to bounce back Monday (Feb. 19) versus Howard in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) contest inside Burr Gymnasium. Tipoff is 5:30 p.m.
The Lady Bulldogs (1-22 overall, 0-8 MEAC) seek their first league win after a disappointing 25-78 loss to Norfolk on Saturday (Feb.17). SCSU scored their lowest point margin of the season.
Meanwhile Howard (8-14 overall, 5-3 MEAC) dropped a 64-70 (OT) defeat to North Carolina Central at home. Janyah Bohanon led the way with a team-high 14 points, while Nile Miller added six points and grabbed a game-high 20 rebounds.
UP NEXT: South Carolina State will return back to action Saturday (Feb.24) at home versus Delaware State in a 2 p.m. start.
