NORFOLK, VA---Three Bulldogs scored double figures with senior guard Omar Croskey scoring a team-high 16 points and four rebounds, but it wasn't enough as South Carolina State dropped a heartbreaking defeat in overtime to Norfolk State 71-67 inside Echols Hall.

SC State falls to 9-16 overall, 4-4 in MEAC, while NSU improves t 16-9 overall, 6-2 in the league.

Raquan Brown added the teams only double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds, while Atiba Taylor chipped in 11.

Despite the loss, the Bulldogs dominated in several categories including Points off Turnovers (21-19), Bench Points (28-26) and Rebounding (45-34)..

The Spartans were led by Jamarri Thomas with 18 and Jaylani Darden with 14 in the win.
