THE HILL | The South Carolina State men's basketball team will play in a two-day Multi-Tournament Event known as "The Bulldog Bash" on Friday and Saturday as Coastal Carolina, IU Indy and South Carolina State will be visiting the AAMU Event Center.
Tournament action begins at 4 p.m. on Friday with the first game as Coastal Carolina takes on IU Indy, followed by Alabama A&M playing host to South Carolina State in a battle of the "Bulldogs" at 7 p.m. The tournament concludes on Saturday with a pair of games, starting at 1 p.m. as South Carolina State meets IU Indy, followed by the hosts, Alabama A&M taking on Coastal Carolina at 4 p.m.
South Carolina State
The Bulldogs (2-3) are looking to get above .500 this weekend. After starting the season 2-1 with wins over Morris College and Voorhees, South Carolina State is looking to end a two-game losing streak as the Bulldogs fell to Jacksonville and Bethune-Cookman.
Wilson Dubinsky is leading the offense at 11.6 points and
Drayton Jones is right behind at 11.0 points. South Carolina State is averaging 83.8 points and shooting 47.2 percent from the field.
