FUQUAY-VARINA, NC - South Carolina Statewide receiver Justin Smith-Brown has been named HBCU National Player of the Week by BOXTOROW.

Smith-Brown, a senior from Cocoa, Fla., caught four passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns as the Bulldogs defeated Tennessee Tech 22-20 in Cookeville, Tenn. Smith-Brown caught the first touchdown of the game, a 47-yarder in the first quarter. He then caught a 63-yard touchdown pass late in the second quarter.

Smith-Brown will be highlighted on the nationally syndicated sports talk show BOXTOROW with Donal Ware which airs on radio stations across the country including ESPN Orangeburg.
