Orangeburg, SC- SC State women's volleyball team suffered back-to-back Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) road losses over the weekend at Howard and Norfolk State.
In The First versus Howard: The Bison defeated the Lady Bulldogs 3-0 (18-25, 17-25, 22-25) Friday (Sept. 22
nd) evening inside Burr Gymnasium.
Eleisha Thompson led the way with six kills and five digs, while McKinley contributed five kills.
Kaia Barnett dished out 15 assists and five digs on the day.
In The Second versus Norfolk State: South Carolina State battle hard but fell short to The Lady Spartans 1-3 (18-25, 23-25, 25-16, 22-25) Sunday (Sept. 24
th) afternoon at James D. Gill Health & Physical Education Building. The Lady Bulldogs were led by
Kaia Barnett with 30 assists, one ace, and 15 digs.
Kiyah Felder (15),
Eleisha Thompson (12), and
Hailey Harris (10) registered double-figure kills to contribute to the Lady Bulldogs offense.
Hailey Harris also rallied five blocks while
Shamira Andrews added four blocks.

The Lady Bulldogs drop to 0-15 overall, 0-2 in the MEAC.
