NORFOLK, Va., – Media credentials for the 2023 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Football Media Day, presented by Wells Faro, are live. Media Day is set for Friday, July 21, at Hilton Norfolk the Main [100 E. Main St., Norfolk, VA 23510].
Media interested in covering this year's Media Day can apply for applications by
clicking here. The deadline to apply for credentials is 5 p.m. on Friday, July 14; applications received after this deadline will not be considered.
Head coaches and two student-athletes from each MEAC football-playing institution will be in attendance. Credential pick-up for media in attendance will begin at 10 a.m. In-person media interviews will begin at 11 a.m., with a show streaming live on ESPN+ beginning at 12 p.m.
The 2023 MEAC football season will kick off on Saturday, Aug. 26, with the annual Cricket MEAC/SWAC Challenge, live at 7:30 p.m. on ABC, pitting South Carolina State against Jackson State at Center Parc Stadium in Atlanta, Ga.

The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) is in its 52nd year of intercollegiate competition with the 2022-23 academic school year. Located in Norfolk, Va., the MEAC is made up of eight outstanding historically black institutions across the Atlantic coastline: Coppin State University, Delaware State University, Howard University, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Morgan State University, Norfolk State University, North Carolina Central University and South Carolina State University.
