th), beginning at Furman inside Timmons Arena. Tip-off is 7 p.m.

THE SERIES: Tuesday's game marks the 20
th all-time meeting between the Paladins and Bulldogs with Furman holding a 14-5 series lead. In the last meeting the Paladins knocked off the Bulldogs 76-88. Freshman
Jordan Simpson led the way with a team-high 14 points, while
Raquan Brown added 12 points and three (3) steals in the loss.
THE MATCHUP: South Carolina State, in their second season under the direction of head coach
Erik Martin, are 2-5 after a 92-74 loss at Missouri State on Saturday.
Mitchell Taylor leads the Bulldogs averaging 10.7 points per game while
Davion Everett has contributed 9.6 points and 7.1 rebounds per outing.
Meanwhile, Furman, 3-3 on the season, is coming off a 92-86 loss at American Athletic Conference member UAB on Saturday night in Birmingham, Ala. The Paladins rallied from an 11-point deficit to grab a late 75-71 lead, but the Blazers connected on their final seven shots to secure the victory.
