2023-24:  Second-year member of the Bulldog Basketball team appeared in 21 games with 6 starts averaging 7.0 ppg and 2.9 rebounds with 17.8 minutes played to date. Ranks among the top on the team 20 steals and 32 assist.

2022-23: First-year member of the Bulldog Basketball team appeared in 30 games with 4 starts, while averaging 7.0 ppg and 2.5 rebounds. Earned several MEAC Rookie of the Week Honors during the season and was named to the All-MEAC Rookie Team for his efforts and play.

Personal: A native of Orangeburg, SC, majoring in Communications & Broadcasting. Simpson played his prep basketball locally at Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School where he had consistent production tossing in 19.0 ppg, 5.6 rebounds and 2.6 steals leading his team to an 21-2 mark and a State Championship appearance.
