MISSOURI— Junior forward
Davion Everett tossed in a game-high 21 points and grabbed seven (7) rebounds and two (2) blocks, but it wasn't enough as South Carolina State suffered an 59-82 setback Wednesday (Nov. 22) against Missouri inside Mizzou Arena.
South Carolina State falls to 2-4 on the season, while Missouri improves to 4-2.
Everett shot 10-of-13 from the field in 24 minutes of play. South Carolina State led 37-35 during the intermission.
Jordan Simpson and
Caleb McCarty each chipped in six points respectively in the loss.
NEXT UP: South Carolina State will remain on the road and return action on Saturday (Nov. 25) versus Missouri State at 1 pm CT|2 PM ET and Tuesday (Nov.28) versus Furman University in Greenville, SC in a 7 p.m. tip-off, followed by a Dec. 2
nd battle with Charleston Southern in at 5:30 p.m.
