Lady Bulldogs Drops Back-to-Back Decisions On The Road

ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State women's soccer team suffered back-to-back setbacks on the road in their season-opener.

The Lady Bulldogs (0-2) welcome a young and feisty squad this season, returning only two seniors and welcoming 18 newcomers to this year's roster.

Second-year head coach Patrick Horne talked about his team's mental toughness in the early season losses.

SC State opened the season with an 0-5 loss to Stetson on the road August 18th, and a 0-6 defeat to Charleston Southern on August 25th in Summerville, SC.

Next up SC State returns to action this Sunday at Greenwood Field. Kickoff for that matchup is set for 4:30 p.m. on ESPN+.
