The South Carolina State women's soccer team will open the 2022 campaign on the road Thursday (Aug. 18^th) versus Stetson University at the Athletic Training Center in Deland, Fla. First kick is 5 p.m.

Second-year head coach Patrick Horne will look to turn things around this season after he welcomed 11 eleven newcomers to the Lady Bulldog squad.

South Carolina State finished the season at 1-11-2 last season under Horne.

The Lady Bulldogs will have nine (9) home games this season at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium/Willie Jeffries Field.  SC State opens the season at home versus Jacksonville on August 31^st at 7p.m., followed by contests with College of Charleston on Sept. 4^th at 1 p.m. and Winthrop on September 7^th at 6 p.m.

Next up Furman comes to town with a showdown on Sept. 11^th at 1 p.m. and a visit from Hampton on Sept.13^th at 6 p.m. On Oct. 2^nd, SCSU will face visiting CIAA foe Shaw in a 1 p.m. start, then USC-Upstate on Oct. 19^th at 6 p.m., Delaware State on Oct. 27^th at 4 p.m. and the season finale versus USC-Beaufort on Oct. 29^th at 2 p.m.

South Carolina State will embark on eleven (11) road games during the 2022 season.
