CARY, NC – The defending Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Champion No. 1 South Carolina State Bulldogs will face NCCU in the semifinal round of the of the MEAC Tourney at the Cary Tennis Park in Cary, NC. First serve is 12 noon.

LAST TIME THEY MET: The Bulldogs (10-9 overall, 5-0 MEAC) dominated in fashion knocking off the Eagles (5-15 overall, 2-3 MEAC) 7-0 on the road in Durham, NC.
South Carolina clinched the Regular Season Title which earned them the No. 1 seed and a bye in this years MEAC Men's Tournament. NCCU knocked off Coppin State 4-1 in the quarterfinals to advance to the semifinals to take on the top-seed.

TENNIS NOTE: Freshman Rostislav Haflinger was named the 2022 MEAC Rookie and Player of the Year, along with earning All-MEAC First Team honors. Sophomore Benjamin Niv was named to the All-MEAC First Team, respectively. Head coach Hardeep Judge earned his seventh (7th) overall MEAC Coach of the Year award.
