ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State men's basketball team closed out the regular season after and impressive 111-58 win over visiting St. Andrews Knights Friday (Dec.30
th) at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.
Eleven Bulldogs scored setting the mark for South Carolina State to improve to 3-13 overall, while the Knights fells to 1-12 on the season.
Rakeim Gary and Latvian Lawrence led the way with a game-high 17 points, while
Raquan Brown finished with the teams only double-double 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Shaman Alston and
Dallas James added 13 points respectfully each.
South Carolina State led 62-20 during the intermission.
The Bulldogs dominated in several categories including rebounding 49-23 , while shooting 61% from behind the 3-point arch connecting 13-of-21 on the day.
