Rakeim Gary tossed in his second straight 20+ performance, finishing with 21-points in an 77-104 loss to Longwood Tuesday (Dec.20
th) inside Willett Hall.
South Carolina State falls to 2-12 overall, while Longwood improves to 8-5.
The Bulldogs got a major lift off the bench from senior guard
Cameron Jones with 21 points, while
Rahsaan Edwards added 18 points in the loss.
Longwood had seven different player to finish in double figures, with Zac Watson leading the way with the games only double-double in 13 points and 12 rebounds in the win.
The Bulldogs wrap up a two non-conference swing one on the road at Texas Tech on Dec. 27
th in a 7 p.m. start, followed by an end of the year battle with St. Andrews at home in Orangeburg in a 4 p.m. tip-off at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.
