GREENVILLE, N.C. – The South Carolina State men's basketball team returns to action Tuesday night when they battle host East Carolina at Williams Arena in Minges Coliseum.
The game is scheduled to tipoff at 7 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+ with Patrick Johnson and Si Seymour on the call.
LAST TIMEOUT: The Bulldogs (0-7) look to bounce back after a tough 64-90 road loss to Western Kentucky in their last outing. Junior guard Lesown Hallums finished with a game-high 21 points in the defeat.
Meanwhile, the Pirates (5-2) are looking to rebound from a 21-point loss on the road to Old Dominion and to win their 19
th straight non-conference home game.
Javon Small leads the Pirates in scoring with 19.7 points per game and
Brandon Johnson is averaging a near double-double with 13.2 points and 9.3 rebounds per game.
Scouting the Bulldogs
South Carolina State will come into Minges Coliseum seeking its first win of the season after the Bulldogs were handed their seventh straight loss against Western Kentucky on the road. Lesown Hallums leads the Bulldogs in scoring with 11.6 points per game.
Series History
The Pirates and Bulldogs have met twice with ECU leading the all-time series 2-0. Both teams last met in the Pirates' season opener last year where ECU defeated South Carolina State by eight points.
