WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The South Carolina State men's basketball team returns to action on the road in a midweek non-conference matchup versus ACC foe Wake Forest inside Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

South Carolina State (0-5) look to rebound after a tough 66-72 loss to North Florida on the road. Rakeim Gary led the way with a team-high 15 points and 4 rebounds.
Meanwhile, The Demon Deacons (4-1) are coming off a 77-75 overtime loss to Loyola Marymount in the championship game of the 2022 Jersey Mike's Jamaica Classic this past Sunday (Nov. 20). Tyree Appleby led the way for the Deacs with 19 points, eight assists and eight rebounds.
Wednesday night's tipoff inside LJVM is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET and the game will air live on ACC Network.
