ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State women's volleyball team suffered back-to-back losses to Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference(MEAC) rival N.C. A&T State.
In the first game the Lady Aggies (6-1, 6-0 MEAC) knocked off the Lady Bulldogs (0-4, 0-4 MEAC) in three sets 11-25, 13-15, 11-25 Thursday (Feb. 25
th) evening at Dukes Gym.
Eleisha Thompson led the way for SC State with five (5.0) points and seven (7) assists.
On Friday (Feb.26
th) the Aggies prevailed once again in three sets with a 25-9, 25-10, 25-13 win over the Lady Bulldogs. Senior
Jess Beanard posted a team-high six (6) points along with 11 assists in the loss.
SC State returns to action on March 4
th at 6 p.m. and March 5
th at 1 p.m. when they host visiting Norfolk State in Orangeburg.
