ORANGEBURG, SC—Sophomore guard Rahsaan Edwards tossed in a career-high 27 points, but it wasn't enough as South Carolina State Bulldogs dropped an 60-58 decision to Jacksonville Sunday (Dec. 13^th) at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.

Jacksonville improves to 6-2 on the season, while SC State falls to 0-7 overall.

Next up the Bulldogs return to action on Tuesday, Dec. 15^th on the road in Lynchburg, VA against Liberty University in a non-conference matchup at 7 p.m.
