GREENSBORO, NC—South Carolina State volleyball returns to action for their Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) opener against league rival N.C. A&T State Friday (Sept. 27th) night at Moore Gym
SC State will seek their first win of the season, while the Aggies look to turn things back for the Lady Bulldogs.
SCOUTING THE AGGIES: N.C. A&T went 0-3 last weekend at the Hampton Inns Classic in Wilmington, N.C., but lost the first two matches in five sets against Western Carolina and Drake. During the tournament, outside hitter Courteney Pitt led the team with 3.92 kills per set. Pitt is 23rd in the nation in total attacks (534) and 53rd in total attacks per set (10.68). She is 83rd in the nation in kills per set.
The South Carolina State Bulldogs: SCSU is led by Alexus Holt with 2.58 kills per set, Jenai King with 4.79 assists per set and Erin Hundley with 2.38 digs per set.
