ORANGEBURG, SC—South Carolina State head coach Buddy Pough will start the 2018 campaign, beginning Monday (Aug. 27
th ) with the annual Bulldog Football Press Conference.
The weekly press conference will be held at 12 noon, each Monday during the season in Staley Hall room 225 on the campus of SC State University.
Pough who is entering his 17
th season at the helm, is 120-64 overall, and needs just nine (9) more wins to become the All-Time Winningest Coach in school history.
South Carolina State kicks off the 2018 season on Saturday (Sept. 1st) in Statesboro, GA against Georgia Southern in the season-opener. Kickoff time is 6 p.m. and will be televised live on ESPN+.

MEAC FOOTBALL HEAD COACHES MEDIA TELECONFERENCE STARTS TUESDAY
The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) will host its first weekly football teleconference Tuesday, Aug. 28 at 10 a.m. (ET)
The teleconference, which features the league's head coaches, will continue weekly through Tuesday, Nov. 2. Each head coach will be available for a 10-minute period that includes a brief statement about the previous and upcoming games and opponents. Each session concludes with a question and answer session with members of the media.
