ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State women's volleyball team will close out the home regular season this weekend when they host Bethune Cookman on Friday (Nov. 9
th ) at 6 p.m. and FAMU on Sunday (Nov. 11
th ) at 1 p.m. at Dukes Gymnasium.
SC State (1-24, 1-7 MEAC) look to avenge an early season 1,-3 loss (Oct.12
th) then they take on Bethune-Cookman (13-15, 5-3 MEAC). The Lady Bulldogs are led by sophomore
Alexus Holt with 183 kills and 2.17 points, while freshman
Kyra Marshall is second with 133 kills and 184 points.
Bethune-Cookman is led by Jordan Jefferson with 340 kills and 374 points, while teammate Sterling Williams in second with 220 kills and 239 points on the season.
