CHARLESTON, SC—The South Carolina State men's basketball team dropped a tough, 72-89, decision to Charleston Southern Tuesday (Nov. 13
th) at the Buc Dome.
Junior forward Damani Applewhite led the way with a team-high 22 points (9-of-14), while junior forward
Ozante Fields added 12 points and six rebounds in the loss.
Senior guard
Janai Raynor-Powell and sophomore
Rayshawn Neal both finished with eight (8) points respectively. Raynor-Powell also added six (6) assist and five (5) rebounds.
The Bulldogs led in several categories including rebounding (35-31), fast break points (21-8), and points in the paint 46-42.
