th) against Florida A&M at Dukes Gymnasium. First serve is 6 p.m.
South Carolina State (1-13) look to snap back after a tough 3-0 defeat to Georgia Southern on Tuesday. Freshman
Alexus Holt led the way with a team-high 10 kills, while
Jenai King added 26 assists and
Erin Hundley 12 digs in the loss.
Meanwhile, FAMU (3-9) look to get things back on track after a tough 3-0 defeat to North Florida on Thursday night.
FAMU's top performers were, Nicole Abreu, with 10 kills, seven digs and two service aces, followed by Maria Yvett Garcia, with eight kills, and nine digs. Candelaria Herrera and Aybuke Kocabiyik each finished with five kills each.
Elena Dimitrova dished out 29 assists for FAMU, while Valentina Carrasco led with eight digs.
South Carolina State returns to action on Sunday, Oct. 1 against Bethune-Cookman in a pivotal league showdown in Dukes Gymnasium. First serve is 1 p.m.
