ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State volleyball team return to action on Tuesday (Sept. 19
th) night in a non-conference matchup with The College of Charleston at Dukes Gymnasium. First serve is 7 p.m.
The Lady Bulldogs (0-9) will be looking for their first win of the season after suffering some tough defeats to Georgia State (16-25, 9-25, 20-25), Davidson College (8-25, 15-25, 17-25) and Wofford (13-25, 12-25, 16-25) in the GSU Invitational in Atlanta, GA.
Freshman
Alexus Holt leads the Bulldogs with an average of 2.52 kills per set, while
Jenai King paces the defense with 2.33 digs per frame.
CofC enters the contest with a 10-3 record and look to extend their winning streak to four straight. Senior Krissy Mummey leads the charge in the CAA this season with a .411 hitting percentage, she has accounted for more than double the kills (134) and attempts (253).
