CHARLOTTE, N.C.—The South Carolina State women's volleyball team will open the 2017 campaign Friday and Saturday in the Charlotte Invitational hosted by UNC-Charlotte.

SC State will take on host UNC-Charlotte in the tournament-opener Friday and then Southern Utah on Saturday morning. Both matches begin at 9.m.
