ORANGEBURG, SC---The South Carolina State men's and women's tennis teams can wrap up the regular season southern division crown, when they take on Florida A&M in a pivotal Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) showdown Saturday (April. 1). First serve is 10 a.m.
South Carolina State will be honoring eight seniors, five on the women side and three on the men side. The ceremony will begin at 8:55 a.m. at the
Hardeep Judge Tennis Courts.
The Bulldogs (8-7 overall, 4-0 in the MEAC) seek their sixth straight win and back-to-back regular season titles. Meanwhile, FAMU (3-6 overall, 0-0 in the MEAC) look to knock off the defending MEAC Champion in a quest for a conference championship.
On the women's side, the Lady Bulldogs (4-8 overall, 4-0 MEAC) seek their third straight league win after knocking off Savannah State 7-0 in their last outing. Senior
Intissar Rassif earned MEAC Women's Player of the Week. FAMU (1-4overall, 1-0 MEAC) knocked off Savannah State 6-1 in their last contest.
