ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The South Carolina State men's tennis team dropped a tough 4-2 decision to visiting Coastal Carolina Tuesday(Feb.7) at the Hardeep Judge Tennis Center.

South Carolina State (1-4) captured the opening doubles point before the Chants (3-1) rallied in singles, winning on courts one, four, five and six.
SC State won the doubles point with a pair of 6-1 victories at the first and third spots

The Bulldogs' lone singles point came on the third court, where Jakub Vitek defeated Zak Talic 6-4,6-2 in straight sets.

The No. 2 singles match between Vladyslav Yanchenko and Luiz Faria went unfinished.
