SAVANNAH, GA—The South Carolina State women's volleyball team look to close out their season on a winning note when they take on Savannah State in their season finale Sunday (Nov. 12) at Willcox-Wiley Gymnasium .

The two schools met earlier this season on the court with the Lady Tigers squeaking out a 3-2 (25-17, 15-25, 21-25, 25-23, 18-16) win in Orangeburg, S.C. on Oct. 13. SSU was led by Rullan Vilanova with a career-high 16 kills, Quint with 25 assists and Melendez with 11 digs, while the Bulldogs were led by Alexus Holt with 27 kills, Janai King with 52 assists and
Marcella Chestnut with 18 digs.
The Lady Bulldogs are led by freshman Alexus Holt with 3.07 kills per set, King with 7.14 assists per set and senior
Marcella Chestnut with 2.64 digs per set.
