CHESTNUT HILL, MA—The South Carolina State men's basketball team will embark of its second of a four-game road swing Sunday when they take on Boston College in a non-conference matchup at the Conte Forum. Tipoff is 1 p.m.

South Carolina State (0-1) is looking to rebound after a tough loss to Wisconsin, while Boston College improved to 1-0 with a with an 85-65 win over Maine.

"This is another opportunity for our guys to get better against an ACC foe and we have to take advantage of every chance we get," said SC State head coach Murray Garvin. "Friday's opener against Wisconsin showed us that we can play with the Power 5 Conference opponent. We just have to put together a complete 40-minute game." 

The Bulldogs were led by graduate guard Donte Wright team-high 13 points, while sophomore forward Damani Applewhite added nine points and three rebounds in the loss.

South Carolina State returns to action on Sunday (Nov. 12^th) for the third of a four-game road swing  Tuesday, Nov. 14 game (7 p.m.) at Yale University in New Haven, Conn. and  wrap it up on  Friday, Nov. 17 game (9 p.m.) at AP-ranked No. 21 UCLA in Los Angeles.
