Box Score AIKEN, S.C. – South Carolina State women's soccer players Justine Zepeda, Serena Schwartz and Jamey Thomas each scored one goal in the Lady Bulldogs' 3-2 win over USC Aiken on Wednesday night at the Pacer Pit.
 
SC State is now 2-5-1 on the season, while USC Aiken fell to 2-4.
 
The Pacers took a 1-0 lead late in the first half but the Lady Bulldogs tied it up right before halftime when Zepeda headed a corner kick by Alexandra Kidd into the back of the net.
 
In the 50^th minute, USC Aiken scored again. Not to be outdone, SC State answered 21 seconds later to tie the match at 2-all. Schwartz scored the first goal of her Lady Bulldog career on an assist from Mary Pierce.
 
Thomas recorded her second score of the season, an unassisted goal, in the 71^st minute to seal the win for SC State.  
 
Taylor Brittingham picked up the win after spending the entire 90 minutes in goal and saving four shots.
