Men's NCAA Bracket
ATHENS, Ga.— The South Carolina State men's tennis team will take on host Georgia in the first round of the NCAA Men's Tennis Championships Saturday, May. 14 at Magill Tennis Complex.
The Bulldogs will take on Georgia at 1 p.m. ET, while Florida State will face Baylor earlier in the day at 10 a.m. ET. The winners of those two matches will meet at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 15.
No. 7 seed Georgia is fresh off its fourth-straight Southeastern Conference Championship, and was selected as one of 16 hosts for the first and second rounds of the NCAA Championship.
Meanwhile, South Carolina State (12-8) captured its eighth straight Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Championship, and 11
th in the last 12 completed tournaments in a 4-0 shutout victory over Florida A&M. The Bulldogs have won 14 league titles in school history.
This year's NCAA Championships will take place in Tulsa, Okla., with later rounds and the individual singles and doubles tournaments to be held on May 19-30.
Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children/students and free for children ages 2 and under. Tickets will go on sale online via the school's official athletics website at www.GeorgiaDogs.com beginning on Wednesday at 9 a.m. ET and running through Friday, May 13 at 8 a.m. ET. All ticket sales after that will take place at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.
