TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The South Carolina State men's tennis team dropped a tough, 4-3, defeat to host FAMU Saturday (March.26) at the FSU Indoor Tennis Complex.
 
The Bulldogs fall to 5-6 overall, 1-1 in the MEAC.
 
SC State captured the doubles point early on with wins at the No. 2 (6-3) and No. 3 (6-3) spots.
 
In singles action SC State only scored two points with Vladyslav Yancheko def. Waiterin (6-2,6-3) at the No. 3 spot and Aleksander Stupar def. Evans (6-4, 6-2) at the No. 5 spot.
 
Next up South Carolina State will be the road to take on Winthrop University in a non-conference matchup. First serve is 1 p.m.
