ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State men's and women's basketball teams will close out the regular season in a home finale against Bethune-Cookman Thursday (March. 3) at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.
Tip-off is 7:30 p.m., immediately following the women's contest with a 5:30 p.m. start.
Fans who cannot attend the game in the Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center, can listen to the MEAC showdown on 93.7 FM the People's Station and the official station of SC State Athletics, with Paul Harris and Clarence Jones on the air for the play-by-play. There will be no video or live stats available.

nd-T) look to stay among the top three elite teams in the conference when they host the visiting Wildcats of Bethune-Cookman (14-16 overall, 10-5 MEAC/3
rd) Thursday night.
SC State is coming off a tough, 76-64, loss to Savannah State on Saturday (Feb.27), while Bethune-Cookman one of the hottest teams in the league captured their fifth-straight MEAC win with a 62-52 victory over North Carolina A&T at home on "Senior Night".
Junior guard
Eric Eaves leads the Bulldogs with 16.5 ppg, while sophomore guard
Ed Stephens is second with 13.5 points per outing. Senior forward/guard
Gabriel McCray adds 11.8 points and 4.8 rebounds and Preseason All-MEAC forward/center
Darryl Palmer is the leader on the boards with 6.0 rebounds and 7.7 points.
Meanwhile, the Lady Bulldogs (11-14 overall, 7-8 MEAC) currently in 7
th place look to get things back on the winning track after a disappointing, 62-39, loss to Savannah State on last week. BC-U women enters the contest in a three-way tie for the top spot at 17-11 overall, 11-4 MEAC record, and winners of two-straight.

Brittany Drumgoole leads the way for SC State with 9.3 points and 3.5 rebounds, while senior guard
Amber Howard adds 8.7. Forward
Jasmine Coleman is the leader on the boards with 8.2 rebounds and 7.1 points.
South Carolina State faculty/staff will be saluted along with "Senior Day" ceremonies for track & field and the cheerleaders. Various student-athletes who were named to the Director of Athletics Honor Roll for earning a 3.0 G.P.A. or better will also be recognized.
