ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State men's tennis team captured their second straight victory in a, 5-2, victory over Boston University Saturday (Mar.12) at the
Hardeep Judge Tennis Center.
The Bulldogs (3-4) won two of three doubles matches for the first point and then claimed four singles points to defeat the Terriers (5-7).
In singles action,
Jakub Vitek def. Lucas Bombonatti (7-6, 7-5, 6-0) at the No. 2 spot; Vladyslay Yanchenko def. Satyajit Simhadri (6-2, 2-6, 6-3) at the No. 3 spot;
Jan Brenk def. Mario Sandoval (6-7, 6-8, 6-4, 6-4) at the No.4 spot and
Aleksander Stupar def. Jeff Chan 6-0, 1-0 at the No. 5 spot.
South Carolina State returns to action on Saturday (Mar. 19) on the road against Kennesaw State in a non-conference matchup. First serve is 1 p.m.
