COLLEGE STATION, TX—The South Carolina State Bulldogs continue their holiday road swing Saturday (Dec.10) against SEC opponent Texas A&M at Reed Arena. Tip-off is 7 p.m. (CST)/8 p.m. (EST) and will be televised live on the SEC Network.

This will be the first meeting between the two schools on the hardwood.

Senior guard Eric Eaves leads the way for SC State (2-6) with 13.3 ppg. Junior guard James "JJ" Richardson and forward Tashombe Riley each contributes a little over 10.1 per game. Riley leads the front court in rebounding with 4.6 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Texas A&M has posted impressive back-to-back victories over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (86-69) and University of Denver (80-58).

The Aggies (6-2) have four players in double figures scoring with Tyler Davis leading the way with 13.6 ppg and 7.5 rebounds. DJ Hogg (5.4 rebounds) and Admon Gilder (4.3 rebounds) are both each averaging a little over 12.1 points per game, while teammate Tony Trocha-Morelos (4.3 rebounds) chips in 10.1.

South Carolina State returns to action on Tuesday (Dec. 13) when they return to the Palmetto State to take on their second ACC opponent of the season the Tigers of Clemson University in a non-conference matchup at Littlejohn Coliseum (9,000). Tip-off is 7 p.m. and will be televised live on ESPNU
