CLEMSON, SC—South Carolina State (2-7) returns to action on the road against their third ACC opponent of the season, versus the Clemson Tigers (6-2) Tuesday (Dec. 13) at Littlejohn Coliseum (9,000). Tipoff is at 7 p.m. (ET) and will be televised live on ESPNU.

SERIES HISTORY: Clemson leads the series 12-1. The last time the Bulldogs defeated the Tigers was back in 1999, in a 71-68 victory at Littlejohn Coliseum. Clemson has won the last seven contests, including an 65-49 decision (2013-14) in their last meeting.

LAST TIMEOUT: The Bulldogs fell short, 76-83, of knocking off SEC opponent Texas A&M on Saturday (Dec. 10) in College Station, TX. Senior guard Eric "EJ" Eaves led SC State with a game-high 23 points, while teammate Edward Stephens chipped in 18, including six three-pointers in the loss.
Meanwhile, Clemson posted an impressive 90-47 victory over Mercer, including tossing in a season-high 13 three-point field goals. Five Tigers scored double figures.

BULLDOG BITES: Eaves leads the way in scoring with 14.3 points per game. Junior forward Tashombe Riley contributes a little over 10.1, while freshman forward Ian Kinard leads the front court in rebounding with 4.3 rebounds. Senior guard/forward Greg Mortimer adds 9.3 points and junior guard James "JJ" Richardson is at 8.9 ppg for the Bulldogs.

TIGER PAWS: CU has five Tigers in double figures with redshirt senior forward Jarod Blossomgame leading the way scoring 17.3 ppg and 5.3 rebounds. Junior forward Donte Grantham, guard Gabe Devoe and redshirt senior guard Avry Holmes each chip in a little over 11.5 points per game. Redshirt sophomore guard Marcquise Reed adds 10.1 and senior center Sidy Djitte (8.9 ppg) is the leader in the frontcourt grabbing a team-high 10 rebounds.

Up next South Carolina State returns to action on Friday (Dec. 16) against Furman University at Timmons Arena (3,500). Tipoff is 7 p.m.
