Box Score 2 ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The SC State women's volleyball team dropped two Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference matches this past weekend at Dukes Gymnasium. The Lady Bulldogs fell 3-0 (25-11, 25-22, 25-13) to Florida A&M on Friday afternoon, then fell 3-0 (25-14, 25-20, 25-9) to Bethune-Cookman on Sunday afternoon.
Against Florida A&M (10-11, 6-0 MEAC), Briana Dafney a team-high 10 kills.
Ashante Finnie added eight kills and five digs, while
Fabiola Plaza had a team-best 21 assists.
Alexis Moses led the defense with seven digs.
On Sunday, Dafney also led the team in kills (11) and had four digs and 1.5 blocks against Bethune-Cookman (7-18, 5-2 MEAC). Finnie had six kills and six digs and
Dashanique Peterson finished with one solo block and two block assists.
SC State (0-22, 0-7 MEAC) travels to North Carolina this weekend for matches at North Carolina Central on Friday (7 p.m.) and at North Carolina A&T on Sunday (2 p.m.).
