MACON, Ga. – The Mercer women's soccer team posted a 5-0 win over South Carolina State on Wednesday night at Bear Field.

The match was scoreless after the first half, but the Bears (6-8-1) scored five goals on 18 shots in the second half.

Serena Schwartz, Tierra Pullard, Cortney Welch and Jamey Thomas each took one shot for SC State (2-10-1) for the game. Mahogany Fisher spent her third straight match in goal and had seven saves.

SC State travels to Conway, S.C. to take on Coastal Carolina in a 6 p.m. match.
