The Series: The Lady Pirates are 28-10 against South Carolina State, and Hampton has won the last 10 meetings between the two teams. Hampton is 12-4 against the Bulldogs at home.         

SCOUTING SC STATE: South Carolina State (8-9, 4-3 MEAC), in its seventh season under head coach Doug Robertson, Jr., has won two of its last three games after a 60-52 win over Norfolk State on Saturday. Sophomore guard Brittany Drumgoole is the team's top scorer, averaging 9.5 points per game, and senior forward Jasmine Coleman is averaging a team-high 7.1 boards per game.

SCOUTING HAMPTON: The Lady Pirates (7-12, 5-1 MEAC) defeated Savannah State 75-52 on Saturday for their third straight win. Junior guard Malia Tate-Defreitas led three players in double figures with 16 points, while grabbing a career-high 13 rebounds for her third double-double of the season. Sophomore forward Kaylah Lupoe and freshman guard K'Lynn Willis each added 12 points.
