ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State men's basketball team looks to extend their winning streak, when they host conference rival the visiting Aggies of N.C. A&T State Monday (Jan.11) at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center. Tipoff is 5:30 p.m. for the women, with the men following immediately afterwards in a 7:30 p.m. start time.
Fans who cannot attend the game in the Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center, can listen to the MEAC showdown on 93.7 FM the People's Station and the official station of SC State Athletics, with Paul Harris on the air for the play-by-play. There will be no video or live stats available.

North Carolina A&T (5-12, 2-1 MEAC) is coming off a tough 75-68 loss to Savannah State on Saturday. The Aggies will be looking to snap a four-game losing skid when they travel to Orangeburg. Senior forward Bruce Beckford leads the charge for N.C. A&T with 15.5 points per outing, while also shooting 48.2% from the field. Guard Ahmad Abdullah controls the pace for the Aggies and is averaging 3.6 assists per game. As a team the Aggies are shooting 65.5 % from the floor, while grabbing 33.7 rebounds contest.
