TROY, Alabama – The South Carolina State men's tennis team will return to action on Saturday (March 28) in the Troy Spring Invitational against nationally-ranked #57 Troy University at the Lunsford Tennis Complex.
South Carolina State (10-1) will take on Appalachian State on Saturday morning, before meeting with Troy in a 2 p.m. showdown. The Bulldogs have won 10 straight matches, including a 6-1 decision at Georgia Southern on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Troy (17-5, 4-0) moved up five spots in the ITA National Team Rankings last week after defeating Xavier (La.) and Columbus State, the No. 6 NAIA team and No. 6 NCAA Division II teams, respectively.
The Trojans have won seven straight matches and 12 of their last 13 with the lone loss coming by a 4-3 score to No. 20 Tennessee.
