STATESBORO, GA—The South Carolina State men's tennis team extended their winning streak to ten (10) straight after a, 6-1, victory over Georgia Southern Wednesday (March.25) at the Wallis Tennis Complex.
The Bulldogs improve to 10-1 overall, while the Eagles fall to 5-10 on the season.
"It was a great solid win for our program especially against a FCS team like Georgia Southern," said SC State head coach

SC State claimed the doubles point early on with Carey/Figura def. Hoffman/de Groof (6-0) and Baco/Mouline def. Lanne/Kerrigan 6-4.
In singles action it was senior Rodney Cary def. Ristomatti Lanne (7-6, 6-7, 1-0) at the No. 1 spot; sophomore
Martin Figura def. Albert Codina Sala (6-2,6-3) at the No.2 spot; sophomore Stansilav Baco def. Christian Kerrigan (5-7, 6-1,6-2) at the No.3 spot; sophomore
Soufiane Mouline def. Jose Landin(6-4, 2-6, 1-0) at the No. 4 spot; and freshman
Jakub Vitek defeating Joan Carles Alcala 6-2,6-2 at the No. 5 spot.
South Carolina State returns to action on Friday (March. 27) against the University of New Orleans in the Troy Invite in Troy, Alabama. First serve TBD.
