Box Score ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The South Carolina State women's lost a non-conference match 3-1 (25-20, 19-25, 25-21, 25-21) against Wofford (11-11) on Tuesday night at Dukes Gymnasium. The Lady Bulldogs are now 2-13 on the season.
 
SC State Highlights and Stats
Brianna Dafney led SC State with a match-high 12 kills for her second straight match with double-digit kills. Marcella Chestnut had 14 digs and Melanie Williams had a double-double of 35 assists and 11 digs.
 
Wofford Highlights and Stats
Alex Holland paced the Terriers with 11 kills, while Molly Mayo had 39 assists and 10 digs and Jessica Graham recorded a match-high 19 digs.
 
Set-By-Sets
1^st: Wofford led 23-16 after a Lady Bulldog service error, but SC State went on a 4-1 run to within four points (24-20). A kill by Danni Densford gave Wofford the 25^th point to seal the win.
 
2^nd: With the set tied at 13-all, SC State scored six straight points to take a 19-13 lead. The Terriers managed just six more points in the set as the Lady Bulldogs took the set to even the match at one win apiece.
 
3^rd: After exchanging points and leads to start the set, Wofford broke a 9-all tie and went on a 5-0 run to open up a lead. SC State rallied late to get within two, 23-21, but the Terriers scored on back-to-back kills for the win.
 
4^th: The Lady Bulldogs scored first to start the set. Wofford answered on the next play and led for the rest of the set to take the match.
