ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State Bulldogs look to get back on the winning track, when they face a tough Hampton Pirate team Monday (Jan. 26) at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center. Tipoff for the women is 5:30 p.m., with the men following immediately afterwards in a 7:30 p.m. start.

Meanwhile, the Pirates suffered their first league loss of the season, falling short 68-66 to Savannah State on the road at Tiger Arena. Guard Quinton Chievous led the Pirates with 18 points and grabbed a team-high eight rebounds, while junior guard Brian Darden added 14.
