Box Score ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The South Carolina State women's soccer team fell 1-0 to Alabama State on Sunday afternoon at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium.
 
The only goal of the game was by Aaliyah Lewis at the 49:42 mark on an assist from Deidre Woodward.  
 
Freshman Valery Fernandez-Davila was the leading striker for SC State (0-1) with five shots, one on goal.
 
The Lady Bulldogs get just one day of rest before returning to action on Tuesday night. They host the University of Mount Olive at 7 p.m.
