SC State Tennis Teams Face MEAC Rival Florida A&M

TALLAHASSEE, FL—The South Carolina State men's and women's tennis teams will face their division rival the Rattlers of Florida A&M in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference showdown Saturday at Rattler Tennis Courts. First serve is 1 p.m.

The Bulldogs are 7-4 on the season, 3-0 in the MEAC, while the Rattlers are 4-6 on the season and 0-1 in the MEAC. SC State is on a sixth match winning streak and sits on top of the Southern Division Conference race with 3-0 mark, while Norfolk State is a close second with a 3-1 record in the league.

On the women's side the Lady Bulldogs are 7-5 on the season, 4-1 in the league, while the Lady Rattlers are 4-3 on the season, 1-0 in the MEAC. SC State currently tied for 1st place in the Southern Division with Bethune-Cookman coming off back-to-back victories over UL-Monore (4-3) and Savannah State (5-1).

The Bulldogs will return to action on Monday (March. 31) against Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC, before both teams head to Buies Creek, NC to take on Campbell University in a Thursday (April 2.) non-conference matchup.
