CHARLESTON, SC—The South Carolina State Bulldogs will look to extend their winning streak to three-straight when they take on the host College of Charleston Cougars in a non-conference matchup Thursday at TD Arena. Tip-off is 7:30 p.m.

The game will be televised on MyTV an affiliate of the Charleston Sports Network. You can follow the game with Play-By-Play Announcer: Jeff McCarragher and Color Analysts: Nate Ross and John Kresse.

LAST TIMEOUT: The Bulldogs (3-5) knocked off MEAC foes Florida A&M (70-61) and Bethune-Cookman (71-66) to start 2-0 in league play for the first time in 12 years. Freshman guard Edward Stephens tossed in a game-high 26 points to lead SC State over Bethune-Cookman. Stephens and sophomore guard Karon Wright each average over 10.4 points per contest to lead SC State. Junior forward Darryl Palmer is the leader on the boards with 6.8 and 6.5 points per outing.
 
Meanwhile, the Cougars had break after defeating neighboring The Citadel in their last outing, 59-55, on Dec. 2. CofC is led by Canyon Barry and Adjehi Baru with 10.3 ppg each. Baru is also the leader on the boards grabbing 8.0 rebounds per contest.
 
LAST MEETING: College of Charleston defeated South Carolina State 88-73 at the TD Arena on Jan 2., 2010. Senior guard Tyvon Williams led the Bulldogs with team-high17 points in the loss.
 
South Carolina State returns to action on Sunday they host Coastal Carolina in a non-conference contest at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center. The Bulldogs will look to avenge an early season, 66-52 (12/2/14), setback to the Chanticleers in Conway. Tip-off is 3 pm.
