Box Score DURHAM, N.C. – The North Carolina Central women's volleyball team posted a 3-0 win (29-27, 25-21, 25-18) over South Carolina State on Friday afternoon.
 
Kelsey Murphy led NC Central (3-24, 3-5 MEAC) with 19 kills. Alice Genna and Paige Phillips had 21 and 20 assists, respectively, and Melissa Rabell Pineiro had a match-high 15 digs.
 
For SC State (3-23, 3-6 MEAC), Marissa Lawrence hit .345 with a team-high 11 kills. Kirby Anderson had a double-double of 10 kills and 12 digs and added six total blocks while hitting .429. Melanie Williams also put up double-digit numbers with 28 assists and 12 digs.
 
The Lady Bulldogs return to action on Sunday when they take on North Carolina A&T at 2 p.m.
