DOVER, Del. – Taylor Addison score a goal at the 30th minute to give the Delaware State women's soccer team a 1-0 win over South Carolina State on Friday night in the Independent Conference Tournament. DSU (5-12-1) advances to the championship game on Sunday at 2 p.m. and will play NJIT.
SC State (2-14) will play in the consolation game against Francis Marion at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
As a team, the Lady Bulldogs took a total of nine shots (four on goal) with four of those shots coming from Dominique Brown. Haley Austin was in goal for SC State and allowed one goal and had five saves.
